Turkish company became a sponsor for the world’s most prestigious Formula Engineering competition. Meha Automotive is taking firm steps to become a world-renowned brand. Expanding its business from Turkey to England, the company has no limits in the area of social responsibility.
Aiming to provide experience for students of engineering, Meha Automotive gave its first support to the students of the De Montfort University in Leicester.
Although Meha Automotive, operating in the automotive spare parts sector, was established only 9 years ago, the company has already reached beyond its limits with investments and employments.Choosing England for realizing its first foreign operation, Meha Automotive, established by the partnership of Mürsel Karaca, Ali Karaca, and İlhami Akın, met with young engineers. Meha Automotive rolled up its sleeves to open engineering paths for today’s students. The company’s first support was provided to the De Monfort University in Leicester.
Meha became a sponsor for Nuri Uysal, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, to participate in “Institution Mechanical Engineers Formula Student 2021”, the competition held among universities from all around the world. From vehicle spare parts to R&D, logistics, and their uniforms, Meha provided overall support to young engineers. In Europe’s best-established educational engineering competition “Formula Student 2021”, young engineers from the De Montfort University, Leicester, took attention with a breathtaking vehicle, which was produced with the support of Meha. The main aim of “Formula Student” a competition attended by over 100 universities, is to support entrepreneurial and innovative young engineers.

Meha Automotive located in Hasanağa Organized Industrial Zone in Bursa has a variety of 4,500 reference products, a 12,000 m2 indoor area, and a warehouse with a total of 25,000 m2. The company produces and markets suspension and mechanical parts of vehicles and employs 147 people only in the Bursa area. Under the brand MEHA Automotive, the company is present in 30 countries and on 4 continents.
Choosing England for realizing its first foreign operation, the company manufactures and sells its own automotive spare parts fully produced in Turkey, under the brand MEHA.
The company carries out its activities in England from the Cambridge Chatteris area, with an indoor area of 1,700 m2, a warehouse of 3,700m2 and 13 employees. With the investment from MEHA.UK efforts for warehousing in the USA and South America continue.
